We’ve owned, leased and operated various warehouse sites in New Jersey that range in size from 50,000 sq ft up to 350,000 sq ft offering our clients with a diverse array of solutions to meet their needs since the 1960’s. Hermann Services has always been dedicated to adapting in an ever-evolving industry. Our highly skilled and committed staff have helped us prove this by adopting our ‘customer ready, always ready,’ motto. We’ve worked to modernize our facilities by integrating hi-tech warehouse management systems, specialized material handling equipment, electric forklifts, motion-activated lighting, RFID scanning systems, specialty storage certifications, and regular refreshing of the facilities for cleanliness and functionality.

Building upon our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, Hermann Services has a long-standing tradition of success. Jim Capra, Warehouse Manager at 21 Distribution Way, has witnessed our transformation over the past four decades. Reflecting on his time with the company, he shared, “Hermann Services has a long history of success, and I am glad to be a part of it for the past forty years, mainly at our newly renovated facility in Monmouth Junction, NJ. To think how much has changed since my first day here back in the mid-1980s, it is amazing.” One of the many changes we’ve embraced over the years is our commitment to sustainability and being as environmentally friendly as possible by phasing out propane forklifts and updating all our lighting to be motion-activated. We’ve also improved our technology by adding a robust warehouse management system with RFID scanning.

Our Bordentown-Hedding Road warehouse holds not only an organic certification for safe food storage and transloading, but it has also maintained an AIB superior rating for two consecutive years, demonstrating our commitment to quality and continuous improvement. At Hermann Services we believe in constantly innovating, and this warehouse is no different, as Office Manager Demea Tyson explained, “Racking has been added to increase our storage capacity, which has also proved beneficial to our new pharmaceutical client as well as other clients,” she said. “As of January 2024, we expanded our footprint in Bordentown, NJ with an additional 40,000 square feet at 302 Bordentown-Hedding Road; this building is temperature-controlled and can meet a number of potential clients’ needs.” Temperature-controlled warehouses are dedicated to storing and managing products that require specific temperature environments like food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and more. These warehouses can preserve the freshness, integrity, and effectiveness of sensitive products which allows us to accommodate a wide range of products with different temperature requirements.

Our Rising Sun Road warehouse in Bordentown is our newest New Jersey location, built in 2021, and it has received AIB superior ratings two years in a row, along with a multitude of compliments from its customers since its opening. “Watching our Rising Sun Road, Bordentown facility be built from the ground up is such an exciting experience,” said Karen Huffman, Director of Administration. “Once completed, we were accepting freight right away. To see our building from opening doors to getting AIB certified is a tremendous accomplishment. All due to the Rising Sun Road team’s commitment and diligence to manage cleanliness and organization. All customers old and new will benefit from it!”
