Employee Spotlight: Phil Edinger

Phil has been a valued member of the Hermann team since March 2007. For the past seven years, Phil has served as a loyal, trustworthy, professional dedicated driver for one of our top customers who manufactures industrial packaging. His commitment and unwavering dedication have earned him the admiration of his colleagues. “Phil is an institution here at Hermann,” remarked Bobby McAndrews, a Planner for our Southwest Transportation division who has the pleasure of working closely with Phil. “He is extremely committed to his position and takes the term dedicated very literally!”

Jeff Hermann, President and CEO of Hermann Services, while serving as a terminal manager in our Houston, Texas, location met Phil when he first joined the company. Jeff quickly noticed Phil’s passion for the industry and his work.

Outside of work, Phil is an avid Harley rider who cherishes his annual trip to the Sturgis Bike Rally. When asked about his greatest accomplishment outside of work, he humbly mentioned meeting his current wife through “mutual friends and a bike ride.”
