Hermann Crosses Finish Lines for National MS Society

Our first event, The Original Mud Run MS in Liberty Sate Park, NJ, was a 10k military-style obstacle course covered entirely in mud! The Hermann Mudsters team included Bryan, Dennis, and Jeff Hermann, Lori Nesta, Erin VanHeusen, and JD Wilson.

“Hermann made it extremely easy for us to participate in these events from registering to providing T-shirts to helping us raise money. My overall experiences at both the Jersey City & Houston Mud Runs were amazing and memorable,” said Lori Nesta, Dispatch.

Meanwhile for the Mud Run MS in Houston, the Southwest Hermann Mudsters team included Darryl Bryant, Mickey Cardenas, Scott Engolio, Dennis and Jeff Hermann, Lori Nesta, Nancy Ramirez, Nancy Reyes, Reginald Smart, and JD Wilson.

“The event itself was a blast and having your co-workers run with you makes it even better. Hermann’s participation in these types of charitable events demonstrates a sincere concern for the less fortunate and the need to give back to the community,” said Scott Engolio, Operations Manager, Houston TX.

“Hermann’s involvement with multiple charities shows that people, whether one single person or a whole company, can get together and motivate each other to still care in today’s world. The experience showed me what ‘Teamwork’ really meant in the Houston/La Porte facilities,” said Nancy Reyes, Southwest Billing/CSR.

Team Hermanniacs, comprised of Dennis and Terri Hermann, Lori Nesta, and JD Wilson, also rode in Bike MS New York, a 30-mile course that circled Manhattan.

Congratulations to all who helped raise close to $10,000 for this wonderful charity! We will be participating in more of these events in 2012 – watch for more. Hermann Services covers the entry fees for team members and everyone is welcome to join at any fitness level.
