Industries
Job sites run on tight timelines, materials need to arrive on schedule, and there is little tolerance for delays. At Hermann, we understand that keeping a project on track means having the right materials in the right place at the right time.
A handling error isn't just a claims issue. It can become an environmental incident, a safety emergency, or a reputational crisis that takes years to recover from.
Food and beverage logistics is one of the most demanding segments within supply chain management, and one of the least forgiving. Every product has a shelf life. Every delivery has a window.
In healthcare logistics, there is no room for error. Products must be stored correctly, handled carefully, and delivered on time, every single time.
Empty shelves cost sales while late deliveries can trigger chargebacks. A missed Must-Arrive-By-Date (MABD) doesn't just inconvenience a buyer, it shows up as a deduction on your invoice. In retail, the margin for error isn't just thin, it’s almost nonexistent.
In manufacturing, efficiency isn't optional; it's everything. Production lines depend on a steady, reliable flow of raw materials in and finished goods out, and any disruption in that flow can have a cascading effect on your entire operation.

Jerry Bruno Steps Up to the Plate

As a family owned and operated business, Hermann has many employees that have worked with us for years, which is not something every company can say.

Jerry Bruno has been part of the Hermann Services family since 2006 and has always found a way to help our transportation team. He has worked a variety of jobs during his tenure: driver, dispatch/driver manager, and now he’s the southwest operations manager. His drive to help others whenever possible took him to our Houston, Texas, warehouse to help make sure things ran smoothly.

One of the main things that seems to set Hermann apart, according to Jerry, is how involved the owners of the company are. “They know how to get things done; they are very responsive when it comes to problem-solving and dealing with issues as they arise. If there is something that needs to be resolved, there will always be someone willing to help.”

“When I first started with Hermann,” said Kathy Glaeser, Fleet Maintenance and Asset Manager at Hermann Services,

“Jerry was the first person to introduce himself and let me know if I had any questions or needed any help to let him know. It is still that way today; I know I can always count on Jerry.”

Jerry enjoys making sure everyone feels comfortable in the office, which is why he makes it a point to say hello to everyone. You may even catch him humming or singing to himself as he makes his way through the office. Jerry stepped up to the challenge because he knew the Houston location needed help getting things up and running. He has always enjoyed helping others accomplish their goals whenever possible, which is why he was perfect for the job.

“Jerry is a vital part of our operations here at Hermann, so it is only appropriate he is now the southwest operations manager,” said Chuck Capra, President of Hermann Warehouse Corporation.

Congratulations to Jerry on his new role of Operations Manager; we are excited to see all the great things you will accomplish!
