A Unique Approach to Driving Support for the Hugs for Brady Foundation

Hermann Services recently cut the ribbon on a customized trailer wrapped with the image of the late Brady Wells in order to raise awareness for the pediatric cancer foundation started in his honor.

Hermann Services has put much time and effort into supporting local charities over the years, which was recognized by the township of South Brunswick at an awards ceremony in 2015. That is where we met Mike Wells who along with his wife Sherri Wells started the Hugs For Brady Foundation after their 18-month-old son, Brady, was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer. In talking about how to get the foundation more exposure, Mike came up with the idea of outfitting one of our semi-trucks with a huge Hugs for Brady trailer wrap and we were onboard.

As the tractor-trailer travels throughout New Jersey, other travelers will see the image of Brady holding his favorite flower with the website address www.hugsforbrady.org. This will provide much visibility for the foundation, which we hope will translate into more support for children affected by cancer.

Mayor Frank Gambatese was on hand at the Stults Road headquarters and warehouse to cut the ribbon on the brand new trailer.

“Hermann is one of the better corporate partners in our township,” Gambatese said. “I appreciate all that they do.”

Gambatese credited Hermann Services with giving the township a truck to use to transport supplies to victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, supplying toys for the annual Toys For Tots campaign as well as other outreach efforts.

“You can’t ask for a better corporate neighbor,” Gambatese stated.

Keep an eye out for the new custom trailer canvasing the roads of New Jersey, and, if you can, please support this important foundation! Please visit HugsforBrady.com  for more information.

Our hopes are that our new Hugs for Brady, full-wrapped tailer will help to deliver miles of smiles for children fighting cancer.
