Full Job Description:

Hermann Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for our Houston, TX, location.  

The HR Generalist will report to the Director of HR and support the daily operations of the Human Resources department.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate general human resources policies and procedures
  • Assist with the recruitment and hiring process
  • Administer employee health and benefit programs
  • Support the weekly payroll process
  • Update and maintain the confidentiality of employment files
  • Organize the annual performance evaluation process
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Respond to all employee questions/concerns
  • Process and analyze reports
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Hands on, self-starting, disciplined, and detail-oriented individual
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Successful in dealing with personnel at all levels
  • Ability to exhibit poise, composure and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of proper HR standards and best practices
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
  • 2-3 years’ experience in human resources
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
