Summer Kick-Off with Hermann Services

Hermann Services, Inc. rang in Memorial Day and an early kick-off to summer with two sensational events, celebrating our employees, clients, and the approaching summer season.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for – ice cream! On May 20th and 27th, Hermann’s New Jersey locations were visited by two trucks for a midday ice cream social. Each truck made rounds to our offices in South Brunswick and Dayton, and employees were able to grab a sweet treat and enjoy the nice weather. While a bit further away, our Bordentown warehouse celebrated with an in-office ice cream event of their own.

Our warehouse in New Castle, Delaware, seized the opportunity to put on a full-scale, Memorial Day Open House on May 26th, organized by Jennifer Berglund and Hermann’s HR Committee. We had a great turnout from warehouse personnel, office staff, and drivers from all Hermann Services locations, as well as a few Delaware-local clients. Two different trucks, a multi-prize raffle, and summer fun were enjoyed by all, set against the background of our wrapped trailer for Wreaths Across America. Reflecting on the event, Jennifer Berglund-Sayers, Delaware warehouse manager, said, “We are so appreciative for all those who made the trip and time to attend Delaware’s Memorial Day Summer Kick-off Party. Everyone came together to make this event a success, and it showed! It was great seeing everyone enjoy the food and the company. We can’t wait to do it again.”

While these are just a few examples of events Hermann Services, Inc. organizes on a frequent basis, their impact on employees certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. “What I love about the Hermann culture is the feeling of belonging and acceptance. While it has been difficult in these times, Hermann is driven to create safe and exciting events that the entire team can look forward to. Each Hermann site is encouraged to find different methods to make sure the entire team feels valued and appreciated,” notes Jennifer Berglund-Sayers.
