The Hermann Services warehouse located at 83 Stults Road in Dayton, NJ has just completed a general upgrade to improve the workspace and maintain compliance with certifications. Ventilation systems used for temperature control space have been updated, floors have been sealed, dock doors and seals have been renovated, and a fresh coat of paint has been applied throughout.
Beyond investing in upgrades that will benefit our current customers, were investing in our future, said John Murphy, Executive Vice President, Hermann Warehousing Corporation. As the economy rebounds, we anticipate serving many new customers moving all types of product and commodities throughout the supply chain.
Built in 1974 for packaged goods manufacturing, Hermann Services purchased the facility in 1999 and converted it into a distribution center. Since then it has been used to warehouse and distribute many types of commodities, food, retail, equipment, and packaging products. Hermanns Dayton warehouse offers unit picking, full pallet selection, and virtually
any type of distribution that customers might require.
The 369,000 sq. ft. facility is rail-served by CSX and Norfolk Southern. Located near Exit 8 on the NJ turnpike, the warehouse offers renovated space immediately available for use by food grade manufacturers and all non-food-grade commodities and product distributors. Hermann Services also offers dedicated logistics including trucking solutions at the Dayton terminal.
Were staffed by a senior group of personnel who have been together for quite a while, added Mr. Murphy. Our group is certainly on top of their game as noted by the many accolades weve received over the years from our blue chip roster of clientele.
