Chuck Capra, President of Hermann Warehouse Corporation, has been named to the Hermann Services, Inc. Board of Directors. Chuck joins a board consisting of CEO and Chairman, Dennis W. Hermann, the Board includes Richard J. Hermann, Richard F. Hermann, Jeffrey M. Hermann, and attorney, David Lonski.

“Hermann Services will benefit tremendously with Chuck Capra on our board,” said Dennis Hermann, CEO. “He has led Hermann Warehouse Corporation through consistent growth over the past few decades, working closely with our other divisions. He brings a holistic view of our asset-based, total distribution services business model to the table, which will be instrumental in setting and achieving future company goals.”

Chuck envisions his role on the board as one that will help guide the company into additional warehouse space in new markets. He will also lend valuable insight and experience to strategic growth decisions surrounding the acquisition of additional assets, new technologies, and key personnel to drive growth company-wide.

Chuck joined the company in 1982 when Hermann Warehouse owned 375,000 square feet of storage space. Under his tenure and leadership, that space has grown to 1.2 million square feet today. Most recently, he directed the work required to achieve one of the highest AIB Recognition of Accomplishment ratings possible for the safe handling of food and food grade products.

Hermann Services has a long-held reputation for fostering a family atmosphere conducive to employee growth, which Chuck is very familiar with. His father, Charles Capra enjoyed a long career with Hermann, rising to the position of Vice President of Operations before retiring. “The opportunity to also work alongside my two brothers John and Jim for many years helped cement our brotherhood for life,” Chuck says.

“In my new role, I look forward to carrying on both the Hermann and Capra family traditions of providing superior service backed by hard work, accountability, and dedication,” he adds.
