Hermann Mudsters Get Down & Dirty for a Good Cause
On Friday August 20th, Hermann Services fielded a team that competed in The Original Mud Run at Liberty State Park in NJ to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The 10K (6.2 mi.) military-style obstacle course was covered in mud with rope swings, nets, tunnels, and barriers to get past.
Ten people joined the team led by Jeff Hermann who organized the event. In all, the team raised over $2,500 in contributions to MS and came in 3rd place in fundraising. To learn more about the event, please visit: www.theoriginalmudrunliberty.com
While this is an excellent opportunity to get dirty in the mud and raise money for a great cause, it also spotlights Hermann Services' attention to health and fitness. The company covered the team's registration fees to encourage participation and will continue to spot registration fees for upcoming events. Hermann also participated in an NYC bike marathon on October 2nd to benefit MS. This time we biked a 30 mile course.
Hermann is not yet done moving through mud. We are also participating in two more Mud Run events: MS Mud Run Houston and Tough Mudder, benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project.
