Hermann Services Restructures Southwest Warehouse Management to Serve Growing Customer Logistics Needs
Hermann Services has completed the restructuring of its Southwest warehouse management team to take full advantage of its strategically located facilities backed by its large fleet of transportation equipment.
John Murphy, Executive Vice President, Hermann Warehousing Corporation, who joined Hermann Services in July of 2010, has assumed executive responsibility for the operation. Tom Diego has been named General Manager, Hermann Services Southwest. Both John and Tom bring vast experience in large-scale floor operations and logistics to the table. Hermann Services Southwest is well-poised for growth with a state-of-the-art facility backed by a modern trucking fleet based in one of the busiest distributions centers in the country, said Mr. Murphy. Were very pleased to bring Tom Diego in to handle daily operations. Tom is a veteran, expert site manager who excels at managing floor operations, customer relations, and personnel.
The Hermann Southwest facility offers expandable space that can handle any type of product including commodities, retail merchandise, food, and HAZMAT materials. The facility conducts large-scale transload and dock-unload operations that are supported by its local transportation division. State-of-the-art WMS technology allows clients to track inventory, place orders, and have secure visibility of their operations.
